Something new for your iPhone

I read that Apple, "last week, . . . spilled the beans on new iPhone enterprise functionality and rolled out the tools independent software developers need to write third-party applications for Apple's hardware."

What does this mean for you?  Well . . . you should find the time to read, "FAQ: What iPhone 2.0 means to you"

Enjoy!

The Commander-in-Chief of the NFL

NFLCommish_March 2008.jpg
A very cool thing happened to me yesterday on Capitol Hill.  I had the pleasure of meeting the Commissioner of the National Football League (NFL), Roger Goodell

As a big NFL fan, I took the opportunity to introduce myself and share a story about my seven year old son's love of the league.   I related to him that my son's favorite television channel is now the NFL Network, not Nickelodeon.  My son actually shed tears at the conclusion of the NFL Pro Bowl, because he realized it was the end of the season.  I told the Commissioner that I got him to cheer up only when I reminded him that the NFL Pre-Draft Combine would be starting in a couple of weeks.

The Commissioner laughed, telling me that he was glad to hear of such enthusiasm.  He was gracious with his time and attention.  I was impressed.  My son was very excited to know that his "Dad" met the Commissioner of the NFL.  He wants me to relay to the Commissioner next time I run into him that one day he dreams of being the Commissioner of the NFL also.  :-)

Mr. Goodell was up on the Hill for a hearing on competition in sports programming.  It looks like things got very interesting and heated.  With infinite upgrading technology and more ways to possibly view NFL games, this is an issue to watch both now and in the future.

Here's a very simple explanation of RSS.

RSS stands for: "Really Simple Syndication"

Definition of RSS: It is a plug-and-play technology, typically called a "reader," which allows nontechnical Web users to easily "feed out" or "pull in" (by way of subscription) select Web content to or from a proprietary Web property.

Just make sure you click our RSS tag to keep up with every new entry!  :-)

It seems that YouTube will now be launching live video service before the end of this year.  It should be very interesting to see how this new service develops.
